Commercial - Porsche 365C

This commercial is split into four scenes. The first introduces the Porsche 365C with four camera pans using a "Track To" modifier and an empty object to keep the car in focus. The second scene takes place in a dark building, lit by two volumetric lights that highlight the car. The camera follows the car from above as it drifts, with smoke effects on the rear wheels. The car’s rigging handles natural movement like suspension, wheel rotation, and turns.

In the third scene, a city bridge textured in Substance and extended in Blender with an Array modifier creates a long stretch. The car follows a straight path, with the camera moving at the same speed, focusing on an empty attached to the car for realistic composition.

The final scene builds on the previous setup, but the bridge is open and curved. The camera follows the car's movement while also syncing with the music. This scene features seven landscapes, each blending three textures using nodes and a scatter system with trees and bushes created with geometric nodes for added realism.

Animation - The Last Dance

In a post-apocalyptic world, an elite SWAT squad faces off against a zombie horde on a crumbling bridge. What initially seemed like the final battle to save humanity takes an unexpected twist when the undead start dancing to Michael Jackson’s Thriller, turning the confrontation into a surreal, choreographed spectacle.

The project stands out by blending custom modeling with Sketchfab assets to create a chaotic, detailed environment. The bridge was modeled and textured using node-based materials that simulate concrete, dirt, and moss, complemented by dynamic fog generated from noise textures. The nighttime sky is brought to life with a starry dome and a meticulously detailed moon, adding an extra layer of realism.

Animations for both the SWAT team and the zombies were crafted using the NLA Editor, ensuring smooth synchronization in movements and expressions. In post-production, color correction was applied along with various filters and a REC-inspired camera effect, all enhanced by a sound design featuring wind effects, screams, footsteps, and, of course, the iconic music.

Commercial - Steampunk Glasses

This commercial is made up of three scenes. The first scene showcases dynamic camera movements, like a 360° spin and a zoom-out for the initial reveal. In the second scene, we have more camera action, moving from bottom to top and rotating at key moments. The external lens of the steampunk glasses is rigged to animate opening and closing, with the outer lenses moving top to bottom and the center lenses moving bottom to top. Lights attached to each lens follow the same animation and sync with the music.

In the final scene, we get a full view of the glasses through a camera animation that follows a circular path, using a "Track To" modifier aimed at a centered empty square and a "Follow Path" modifier, all synced to the music. The motion curves were later adjusted to change speed smoothly. The rigged external lens animation also reappears here. The model features procedural textures for gold, leather, and glass, all created with Blender nodes.

Revolver and Metal Barrel - Sapphirux Studios

I was hired by Sapphirux Studios as a 3D artist to work on the launch of a Cyberpunk-themed video game. Due to project privacy, I can only mention two of the models I created and textured. One was an explosive barrel with three damage states: one in perfect condition, another with dents and worn paint, and the last completely damaged and rusted.

The other model was a high-tech revolver, which took me about two months to complete. I used Subdivision Surface and Mirror modifiers, along with Blender’s Sculpt mode for certain details. I also created custom Normal Maps and optimized the topology. For both models, I delivered High Poly (around 80,000 polygons) and Low Poly (around 3,000 polygons) versions, so retopology was necessary for each project.

Foxy stalking from the darkness

This animation is inspired by Five Nights at Freddy's 2, featuring Foxy from a first-person view player. To recreate the pizzeria setting, I used a strategically cut cube to simulate the walls, assigning materials like concrete, tiles, and red paint. I then applied a Mirror modifier on the X-axis and an Array modifier to duplicate the cube for a more complex environment.
For added realism, I placed lights and game posters along the hallway and turned the lights into volumetric ones for a more immersive feel. I also animated the player's flashlight and hallway lights to flicker, enhancing the atmosphere with sound effects.

Fire Tornado in the field

This fire tornado simulation was created using a fire and smoke fluid system for the emitter and a gas fluid system for the Domain. In the Shader Editor, several modifiers like Noise Texture, Mix Color, Attribute, and Multiply were added, connected to Color Ramps to fine-tune the values, and then linked to Volume Scatters and Add Shaders for the final material.
To achieve the tornado effect, three force fields were used: Force, Magnet, and Vortex, all sharing the same X and Y coordinates but with adjusted Z values for customization. An HDRI was applied to a hemisphere, and lighting was adjusted to enhance the fire tornado's appearance.

Fox's Stroll

This animation features a low-poly fox roaming through a field rendered in a stylized cartoon aesthetic. The field was sculpted and given a custom texture, along with a particle system to simulate wind-animated grass.

To further enliven the scene, I added trees, bushes, and animated flowers using a noise texture technique, while the water was animated with curves and texture coordinates to mimic the flow of rivers where koi fish jump in sync with the fox's path.

Hollow Knight - Hornet

This scene is inspired by a scenario from Hollow Knight, featuring Hornet as the protagonist. A particle system, using a collection of colorful shapes, was employed to generate dust motes, with adjustments made to randomize their lifespan and size. To animate the dress and vegetation, two animated empties were used with a displace modifier and texture noise, making the movement feel more natural.

Animation - Pandora's Flower

For this project, I modeled and animated a flower inspired by the world of Avatar. Some parts of the flower emit light, while others feature transparency and gradients, all created with Blender nodes. To animate it, I used two animated empties with a displace modifier and texture noise to create more natural movement.

Animation - Purple Magic Fluid

This magical liquid sphere was animated using a liquid simulation in Blender. Instead of liquid, a particle system with purple, black, and gold particles was used, with nodes controlling the randomization of appearance, weight, and volume. To finalize the animation, additional nodes were applied in the compositing section to enhance the overall look.

Robotic Dance in the Field

This quirky dance was made by rigging the model and adjusting the movement interpolation for a 'robotic' effect. The environment was created using a modified plane in Blender's 'Sculpt' section to form a field. A hair system was added to mimic tall grass, with a cartoon-style texture from Photoshop. An animated force field was included to simulate wind and noise. Finally, cartoon clouds and a color adjustment for the world were used to replicate the Earth's sky.

Animation - Woman Facial Rigg

For this scene, a female face model was used with a facial rig applied to the eyebrows, cheeks, and lips to create different expressions and kisses. A three-point lighting setup was added to ensure proper illumination of the model.

Animation - Magic Axe

This project involved modeling an axe in Blender and texturing it in Substance 3D Painter for a magical look. I used a built-in landscape from Blender, applying a rocky texture, and created custom rock models with transparent and emissive materials. A particle system was added along a curve path to simulate a 'magical handle' for the axe.

Animation - Star Wars Lightsaber

The lightsaber animation was made using a cylindrical model, with animated nodes including noise texture, mix, mapping, and gradient texture.

FNAF dumpster

This render was created by generating a UV map of the container, texturing it in Photoshop with a "Five Nights at Freddy's" theme. The scene featured the container with materials and modifiers like Subdivision Surface and Solidify for an improved look.

Dragon fruit

More info

For this project, an icosphere was used to model the dragon fruit, while cylinders and cubes created the cutting board and sliced fruit. The dragon fruit slices used two textures: one for the edge and another for the interior, featuring voronoi modifiers and color maps for the procedural white and black texture. A gravity simulation was applied to position the fruit realistically.

Lion Fur

This render was achieved using a hair system with noise, curl, curves, clump, and trim modifiers for a realistic effect. Color modifiers were then added, and the hair was styled to enhance the render’s overall appearance.

Cute Red Panda Head

This head was fully sculpted in Blender with a cartoonish look and textured in Blender. The eye texture was created using adjustable nodes to modify its size.

Ornamental Elements

These ornaments were made using edited curves and a background reference. Subdivision Surface and Mirror modifiers were applied, along with a profile from the curves menu to add detail to the ornaments.

3D Texturing - Roller Skate

The texturing was done in Substance 3D Painter using a model from an Adobe suite. Textures applied included leather, plastic, ropes, various stickers and logos, and dirt to simulate wear and tear.

Plasma Orb

This render was created using three models combined into one object. The first model simulates plasma rays with curves, color nodes, gradients, and emission. The second model is the crystal ball, modified with Mix nodes and color ramps to adjust roughness, transmission, opacity, and other properties. The third model is the base, with textures for the metal and a line of light. A plane was added for the background, and a light was set up to illuminate the orb and create contrast.

Fountain of Youth

This magical scene was created by sculpting rocks with Blender’s Dynotopo function and applying Decimate modifiers to keep a low-poly style. An emissive model was placed in the center to simulate a 'natural magical cauldron,' and emissive plants and lights were added to enhance the scene.

Gummy Shark Plates

These cute gummy sharks were sculpted in Blender using a reference image. The model was split into two parts, each with a semi-transparent, glossy texture to mimic gummy properties. Two procedural textures were created for the plates: one metallic for a gold look and another with a black marble style.
Finally, a three-point lighting setup was used to illuminate and add contrast to the scene.
